Appointments & Cancellations
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment? To cancel or reschedule a reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior your appointment by phone. Please contact us during business hours. Cancellations made less than the required time, 50% will be charged to your credit card or gift certificate.
If you made your appointment online and you created an account wit us, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment at anytime. Same Cancellation policies will apply. How early do I need to arrive prior to my appointment time? Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out a client intake form. You will answer questions regarding your reason for wanting the spa service, your physical condition, stress level, areas of pain or tension, etc. How much should I tip? Rates do not include gratuity. 15%-20% is both appropriate and appreciated. For an exceptional service, please fee free to give a larger tip. A cash gratuity is especially appreciated. What happens if I arrive late? All spa appointments have been designed to allow the appropriate time for the full enjoyment of the service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest experience possible. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled treatments. An unrushed treatment will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled session. You will be responsible for the full service. Gift Certificates Information Are gift certificates available? Yes, gift certificates are available in any amount, or Spa services. All Sheina Spa Gift Certificates sold are nonrefundable. You may only exchange your gift certificate for any other services you would like. We also offer Instant Gift Certificates which can be customized, viewed, and printed directly from this website. They're perfect for last-minute gifts! I have a gift certificate for $100, but I only used $80 in services. Can I get a cash refund for the $20 balance? There's no cash refunds on gift certificates. However, you can redeem the remaining balance of your gift certificate on your next visit to the spa. Few Things you need to know before arriving to the Spa May I use my cell phone during my time in the spa? In order to preserve the tranquility and privacy of the spa experience, we request that cell phones and pagers be turned off while in the Spa. Do you provide prenatal massage? Yes, in the second or third trimester only, provided that there are no complications with the pregnancy. Please notify the receptionist at the time of booking if you are pregnant or if you have special needs or limitations. Are there any age restrictions for receiving massage? Yes. Clients must be 18 years old to receive a massage. Will I have a private room? Yes. All spa treatments, including massages and facials, take place in peaceful, comfortable, private rooms. Can people with; Diabetes, High Blood Pressue, or other health issues receive service? Yes, however if any Sheina Spa staff person feels that you would be at risk for injury resulting in the treatment-we can refuse service. If you have any health issue, please discuss it prior to your booking. How will I be covered during the massage? You will undress in private and lie down on a comfortable massage table under a sheet. You may take your underpants off or leave them on, whichever is more comfortable for you. The therapist will undrape only the part of your body that is being massaged, ensuring that your modesty is respected. May I leave my make-up on during the massage/treatment? It is advisable to wear as little as possible. Massage strokes may be applied to the face during certain treatments. If you are receiving a facial, your make-up will be removed in the cleansing process. I have an appointment for a waxing service. What should I do prior to arrival? Please allow at least ¼ inch of hair growth prior to your reservation. Also, on the day of your waxing avoid using any moisturizer. Please note that if you are using Retin-A, Differin, Renova, Accutane, blood thinning drugs, certain antibiotics, or alpha hydroxy products, please check with your doctor, as you may not be fit for waxing services while on such medications. In addition, guests with conditions such as diabetes, pregnancy, skin disorders and auto- immune disorders should check with their doctors prior to their visit. Loss & Returns
What is your policy on Loss or Damage items? We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal articles. Please try to keep all valuables at home. For the protection of your clothing, we may also ask that you wear the robe that is provided. Retun Policy Un-used products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days and will be honored with the store credits. Gift certificates are not refundable.
